Alamo, Jan 22 -- Samuel WEIKEL, 86, and one of the oldest men of Ripley Twp
died Saturday near the noon hour at the home of his son, William
Weikel of this place. He had suffered from a complication of
diseases and his death was from this and his advanced years. Mr.
Weikel was a farmer and resided in the neighborhood of Alamo many
years. He has resided with his son here for a number of years. He
was a member of the Odd Fellows in Crawfordsville. Mr. Weikel was
a member of the Lutheran Church. the funeral service will be held
Monday morning at 11 at the Christian Church and will be in
charge of Rev. Hunt, minister at Lutheran, 3 miles west of this
place. Interment in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Crawfordsville. - kbz
